My cob had started being very spooky and reactive which was very out of character for him, and I suspected he may be a bit ulcery, or at least uncomfortable for some reason. Debbie was incredibly helpful and I started him on a course of Gastro Pro - within days he was eating hay again where he hadn’t been before, and his behaviour really settled down, the change was almost instant. I’ve also used their Calmer Pro and Calmer Bites previously to help deal with anxiety with the farrier - also fab products and really helped him to learn to just stand and relax. We have a young Welsh pony who was showing typical behaviour problems associated with ulcers as well as a physio also picking up on it physically. After speaking to my vet & doing abit of research, I decided to try treating her with the equine exceed gastro step 1. She’s been on a course of it for 4 weeks & is like a different pony!! No longer is she tense, nervous with outbursts of bucking & bolting. Deborah has been so helpful with advice on dosage & the next steps should we need to take further action.I also got a free sample of equine exceeds ‘calmer bites’, so I decided to give the pony one and take her to her first ever show. I have been using Equine Exceed "Gastric Pro" for about a year now for my horse that wind sucks. We compete weekly so can be very stressful for him. Last year I was having problems with my horse. I cannot rate this product highly enough, our mare was diagnosed with grade 3 pyloric and hind gut ulcers in January this year. After the vet treatment, she was still experiencing discomfort and I put her on a course of Gastro Step 1 after some really helpful discussions with Debbie. Within weeks Queenie was like a different horse and has gone from strength to strength. We bought her as a show jumper last summer and was advised she would not hack alone. We now hack her anywhere alone, or in company. Her competition record speaks for itself, prior to the ulcers being diagnosed she would regularly be eliminated from a competition for rearing bolt upright and refusing to go forward. We have brought her back into work slowly and last week we took her away competing for the first time since being on Gastro Step 1 and out of 8 rounds of showjumping 6 were double clears and 2 were winners!! I have an ex racer who is a wind sucker issue assuming he had gut issues . I could not be happier with Equine Exceed "Sensitive Mare" after my little pony had totally "lost it" culminating in a rearing incident whilst doing groundwork. Booboo had become aggressive towards me, refusing to leave the field and generally being a foul ginger girl. I had spoken to Kazia my Equine Physio who reassured me a lot of mares are having hormone issues due to the odd weather, she recommended Sensitive Mare. I immediately ordered 60 days worth, and was pleasantly surprised when Debbie rang to ask why I had purchased the product. Her confident reassurance was what I needed to hear and more to the point is honest. I completed the loading dose this morning and have already seen Booboo's ability to concentrate, and my more gentle pony returning.
